Traditional Catalan cuisine and tapas to enjoy in a charming historical restaurant in Barcelona.

From the moment you enter, you'll love this establishment, which has managed to combine Catalan tradition with modernism and elegance. It's no surprise that this restaurant, located in a magnificent modernist building designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch, was chosen to star in Woody Allen's famous film, Cristina Barcelona. Try the cheese ravioli with caramelized onions and the roast chicken with plums, raisins, pine nuts and foie gras crumbs. Although it is always sold out, the service is excellent. The cover of the menu was designed by Picasso himself!

Très beau restaurant. L'accueil est parfait. Juste un regret, les assiettes sont froides, donc les aliments sont très vite froid.

Intérieur joli et à voir car bien décoré façon ancienne... mais restaurant trop fait pour les touristes ! Y compris dans l'addition qui reste élevée surtout si l'on prend du vin ! Ce lieu a perdu un peu de son son âme ! Cuisine assez bonne et service variable. Pour résumer, il faut y aller pour voir l'intérieur et tester leur délicieux "Pain à la tomate" mais le souvenir n'est pas impérissable et l'addition est salée.

Un lieu au décor historique, même s'il a rouvert en 1976. Le repas, côté restaurant, le restera moins... C'est cuisine "évolutive", donc léger dans l'assiette. Après, pianiste pour l'ambiance, ça c'est top. Au final, 50 € par personne avec une bouteille de vin...
