Terrible personal they are not friendly

Ganz gute Lage, aber die Zimmer sind winzig...

struttura ottima, pulita e accogliente, curata in ogni dettaglio. personale amabile e disponibile a tutte le ore. ho amato la terrazza con una splendida vista sul Teatro Nazionale di Catalunya, Sagrada Familia, la torre di Glories.

Hostel ben situat al costat linea vermella de metro, i als Encants, amb bona zona comuna per descansar i preparar àpats. Molt complet

Wouldn't suggest nobody to go there, you are not allowed to do nothing after 00 clock, absolutely nothing not even talk in the room you are.

Sconsiglio assolutamente per gruppi in viaggio d'istruzione. La politica dell'ostello è contraria ai giovani.
1) sala comune al piano interrato: molto bella, comoda sia per la colazione, sia per momenti da trascorrere in gruppo (è totalmente separata dai piani, per cui non arriva l'eventuale rumore). Peccato che chiuda a mezzanotte. Se i ragazzi vogliono passare qualche minuto in più a chiacchierare o a giocare a biliardo, non lo possono assolutamente fare! Sono obbligati ad uscire alla struttura, cosa che per un insegnante diventa più difficile da gestire. La mattina successiva mi è stato detto che i ragazzi avevano fatto molto rumore e che mi avevano avvisata più volte. Ho smentito: il tutto era accaduto nell'arco di 10 minuti, mentre io ero in stanza e a bassa voce (la mia stanza era giusto a fianco dei ragazzi multati). Sono uscita perché il vigilante mi ha chiamata per farmi vedere i video e sono rimasta alzata, in corridoio, fino a tarda notte per assicurarmi che i ragazzi, nel farsi la valigia (visto che di giorno non erano riusciti) non uscissero. Per 10 minuti di passaggio di oggetti a bassa voce 100 euro sono eccessivi! E' vero che ho firmato un patto iniziale, ma accetto se il rumore è effettivamente di disturbo in una zona con altri ospiti. A bassa voce e in una zona solo con miei studenti è triste. Ancora più triste scoprirlo la mattina successiva, dopo aver assicurato al vigilante che sarei rimasta in corridoio a controllare.
2) Nei piani c'è un controllo assiduo. Da un lato può andar bene, da un altro è angosciante: al minimo rumore, vieni multato (100 euro a stanza) e filmato (il vigilante passa poi a farti vedere il video di te che sei in corridoio in orario in cui è proibito). Capisco, se effettivamente stai facendo molto rumore, ma se si tratta di spostarti in un'altra stanza, di bussare e di passare il phon o altro oggetto ad un tuo compagno la sera prima della partenza, mentre ti stai facendo la valigia, la multa da 100 euro è spiacevole.
3) Stanze con diverse mensole rotte. Bene avvisare prima, altrimenti paghi ciò che è rotto.
4) Stanza con acqua della doccia che filtra nei muri e, di conseguenza, muffa nelle pareti. Pareti da rifare.
NON LO CONSIGLIO! POSIZIONE NON COMODISSIMA!

Wir waren im Rahmen einer Jahrgangsfahrt dort. Das erste, was auffiel, war, dass im Fahrstuhl auf einer Höhe von einem Meter alles mit Pappe verkleidet war und diese schon total zerfetzt war. Im Zimmer angekommen, bemerkte man sofort den Geruch nach Chlor. Das lag daran, dass in Spanien das Wasser mit Chlor gereinigt wird und insofern man das wusste, war es auch weiterhin eigentlich nicht soo dramatisch (Achtung: Nicht das Wasser aus der Leitung trinken, egal, wo du bist!!!). Die Zimmer sind wirklich klein, also sollte man sich wirklich überlegen, ob man mit Menschen in dem Zimmer ist, die man auch lieb hat ;-). Es ist einfach alles im Zimmer so klein und das Klo ist für Menschen mit Platzangst wirklich nicht zu empfehlen. Dass das Wasser in der Dusche alle paar Sekunden wieder ausgeht, ist natürlich nervig, ist aber der Wasserknappheit in Spanien geschuldet und wenn das Wasser schwächer wird, einfach wieder draufdrücken, dann hast du fließendes Wasser ;-). Was wirklich garnicht geht, ist, dass du auf dem Zimmer kein Trinken und Essen haben darfst. Wenn man durstig ist, fühlt man sich schon sehr hintergangen. Was ebenfalls ein absolutes No-Go ist, dass man in den Schubfächern unter den Hochbetten absplitterndes Holz zu sehen ist, wie, als hätte jemand mit Gewalt die Möbel zusammengebaut. Richtig gruselig war es auch, dass auf den Gängen und im Fahrstuhl überall Kameras waren, wodurch man sich sehr verfolgt fühlt. Kann aber auch sein, dass sie auf Nummer sicher gehen und somit Regelverstöße besser erkennen. In diesem Hostel wird die Nachhaltigkeit auf die Spitze getrieben. Beim Frühstück wird halb schimmeliges und überhaupt muffig schmeckendes Toast serviert, das uns allen den Magen umgedreht hat :-(. In dem Punkt, dass es ziemlich ungesundes Frühstück gibt, stimme ich zu. Es war einfach gar keine Abwechslung in der Auswahl zu sehen. Aber ganz ehrlich, wer möchte sich das Frühstück noch genauer angucken, wenn es teils schimmelig ist!? Was zumindest gut war, war die Dachterrasse, wo man echt gut chillen kann. Die Anbindung an Bus und U-Bahn ist sehr gut, wodurch wir alle entschieden haben, entweder in die Stadt zu fahren und da schöne Sachen zu sehen oder auf der Dachterrasse zu sein. Sonst kann man das Hostel auch nicht anders aushalten. Es ist nur gut, wenn du nach einem ,,Städtetrip" deine Einkäufe ablegen möchtest oder kurz Entspannung brauchst und die findest du nur höchstens auf der Dachterrasse. Wenn du dir eine Unterkunft suchst, suche dir lieber etwas anderes, wo es einen besseren Minimumstandard gibt.

Unfassbar schlecht nicht zu empfehlen

Wir waren hier auf einer Klassenfahrt. Das Hotel war ganz in Ordnung, war sowieso viel zu besoffen um die Mängel im Hotel im Nachhinein zu kritiseren. Wer sich über die anliegenden Slums beschwert, hat sich nicht mit den dort wohnenden Obdachlosen unterhalten. Alles sehr korrekte Homies, welche uns sogar gezeigt haben, wo man um 1 Uhr Nachts noch am günstigsten Bier her bekommt.
Außerdem sehr schöne Dachterasse und man konnnte vieles schnell erreichen.

Well, a decent hostel in Barcelona..little bit far from beach and other attractions..had a decent stay here.

En plus d'être un hôtel spacieux, moderne et très bien placé par rapport au prix le personnel est très accueillant, très sympathique et surtout à l'écoute.

I appreciate it is a hostel, but i strongly dolisagree with many things, starting with the price. For what you get it is ridiculous. Almost 400 euro for 3 nights for two adults and two children 10 and 14. For that you dont get a second key, a bathroom towel or soap! Thanks for the toilet paper... Beds are small and really uncomfortable. Water in the shower is timed. Turns off every 17 seconds!!! Trust me, i love saving water, paper, and so on, but this is weigh too much. Rooms were cold and you cant do anything about it. Aircon system makes a terible noise - doesnt let you sleep or rest. One of the lamps kept turning on and off at night and makes a noise. Didnt like the area either. Event metro is not that close. Honestly, for that amount you can get a desent 3 star hotel.

Mi experiencia en Twentytu Hostel Barcelona fue increíble. El personal fue muy amable y servicial. La habitación era muy cómoda y agradable. Estoy muy contento con mi estancia aquí. ????????????

they let us use the locker and fridge after check out
the room was nice and clean, temperature in the rooms was good
for the breakfast they had lots of option too... there was fridge and microwave and kitchen too

We booked a quadruple room for a group of 4 and had a great experience with them. They allowed us to check in early at 8:30AM, and store food in the fridge and use the lockers after checking out. The room had a private shower, sink and toilet as well as lockers for your things. Each bed had an outlet and a reading light. Reception was very helpful. The location is really close to the metro station and a short walk from Barcelona Nord and La Sagrada Familia. Overall, a great stay!

Desde que llegamos nos dijeron en recepción que teníamos que hacer las camas por nuestra cuenta, nos pidieron 10€ por una llave de habitación que nosotros ya habíamos pagado. Íbamos mi pareja y yo con dos niños y nos dieron una habitación de 2 literas. Al entrar al baño no había ni toalla ni jabón, para conseguir una toalla nos la tenían que alquilar por 4 €. A las 00:00 cortaban las luces de las habitaciones. Las sábanas y los edredones tenían unas manchas extrañas, al intentar abrir la ventana para airear solo se abría 20 centímetros. El váter está separado de la ducha y el lavamanos, se encuentra en una habitación pequeña en la que al pasar solo puede entrar una persona, la ducha va con un botón que tienes que estar pulsando cada 10 segundos, ponen la excusa del ahorro ecológico. A la hora de irnos pedimos el favor de que nos llamaran a un taxi, no quisieron llamar a uno y tuvimos que ir con nuestros hijos a buscar uno fuera del hotel. No lo recomendaría para familias con niños.

The room looks way bigger on the photos than they are and its not comfortable to stay in one with 4 people for extended time.
Windows can only be opened a tiny bit (see picture) and the AC only works if that window is closed (AC works poorly). Why not add a flynet insted of the poor excuse "nature is just outside"?

All the "high tech" stuff that is put in place seems to be more of a cost saving measure like the shower that only stays on for around 30 secs before you have to turn it on again.
Our room was right next to the street so it was LOUD at night.
The social space is neat but not as big as expected so that they also tend to get quite full in the morning/evening.
The special events although they were a bit scuffed at times seemed nice.
Breakfast tastes good but it is ONLY sweet things and I wouldve loved some more variety.
Playing pool at the pool table is fun but having to make a deposit of 10€ AND pay 1€ every game kinda sucks.

Now on to some positive things to round it up:
- staff was very nice
- nice "flair" in lobby/social rooms
- good enough if you only need to sleep here
- quick connection to trains
- supermarket/cafe right around the corner
- the view on the roof is really nice

Excelente un gran lugar, limpio y completo sencillamente una oportunidad maravillosa de estar y disfrutar BARCELONA!!!

Overall ok. The rooms are extremely small and the breakfast is disgusting but the rooftop terrace is beautiful. They also offered a free salsa class and yoga which was fun.

Das Frühstück ist einfach super ungesund und schmeckt komisch. Das einzig halbwegs genießbare war das Müsli und das frische Obst. Das Toastbrot kann man gleich in den Müll schmeißen, wie auch der kaum funktionierende Toaster. Das auf Toilette auch nach einiger Zeit automatisch das Licht ausgeht ist auch einfach nur nervig. Im Bad gibt es keine Seife. Das mit den Wasser in der Dusche ausgeht kennt man von manchen Sportduschen und wenn man es im Vorfeld weiß, kann man sich auch darauf einstellen. Ich würde nur sagen, dass es deutlich bessere Hostels oder Hotels in der Preisklasse in Barcelona gibt und würde keinen dieses Hostel empfehlen.

Algo que falta en la habitación es un espejo que te puedas ver entera y también que el agua del grifo dure más tiempo... una no podía lavarse las manos tranquila...
