Basilica with a main facade of baroque style located in the Carrer Ample of Renaissance style in Barcelona
Built in 1760, this basilica is dedicated to the patron saint of Barcelona. The main façade on the square is baroque style, while that located in Carrer Wide is Renaissance style. You cannot escape the monumental statue of the Mare de De de la Mercè which overlooks the dome.
