BELLESGUARD TORRE
Fabulous gothic style house with a beautiful panorama offering free tours with audioguides or guided tours
Located at the foot of the Collserola mountain range, this fabulous house with the appearance of a medieval castle is the work of Antoni Gaudí. It was built between 1900 and 1909 on the ruins of an old 14th century castle, offering a curious synthesis between modernism and the Gothic style. It owes its name of Bellesguard ("beautiful view" in Catalan) to the very beautiful panorama it offers over the city. A private property, it has been welcoming Gaudí's enthusiasts since 2013 for open tours with audioguide or guided tours.
