VIEWPOINT TORRE GLÒRIES
The 142 m high tower looks like a glass missile and offers a view of the whole city from its 30th floor viewpoint.
Inaugurated in 2005, this 142-metre-high tower designed by French architect Jean Nouvel is one of Barcelona's icons. The all-glass facade lights up at night. Until now, it could only be seen from the outside, but since spring 2022, visitors have been able to climb up to its viewpoint on the 30th floor and admire a spectacular panorama of the city! In the basement, an educational exhibition presents the microcosm of Barcelona, its climate, its inhabitants, its urban planning... A great way to get to know the city.

The Cloud Cities exhibit is incredibly cool from the ground but it's even cooler up inside the interactive sculpture suspended 130 meters from the dome. Crawling through the cloud spaces does require some agility but you are encouraged to take your time and chill out. They even have cushions in some of the cloud spaces.
The Hyperlink exhibit offers yet another unique perspective on the city. It uses big data to uncover some of the less obvious aspects of city life, like the number of visible stars, the temperature of the sea, pollen levels.
The gift shop has a lot of great gift ideas. There's a shopping mall with cafes and restaurants close by as well as the mirrored flea market.
I really enjoyedyself and was a bit surprised there weren't more people taking in the stunning views.
