CASA DE LA SEDA
Elegant house with a library, of great artistic and historical value, organizing a guided tour by appointment.
Built in the 18th century, the elegant Casa de la Seda was once the headquarters of the brotherhood ("gremi" in Catalan) of silk weavers. The building, built between 1759 and 1763, has a facade decorated with sgraffito. With its silk-covered walls and period furniture, it is a site of great artistic and historical value. The guided tour includes the impressive "sala gremial" (hall of the brotherhood), the library, which contains more than 3,000 historical documents, the presidential office and the meeting room.
