JOAN MIRÓ'S PARK
Park with very pleasant alleys planted with pine and palm trees for a walk or an improvised picnic
Located in the center of the city and near Aragó Avenue, this park was known until the 1980s as the Parc del Escorxador (Slaughterhouse Park), when it was developed. It was then named after the famous Catalan artist. In fact, one of his sculptures can be seen there, the "dona i ocell" (woman and birds), which is covered with colorful mosaics and rises majestically 22 meters above the ground. The park's paths, planted with pine and palm trees, allow families to enjoy some fresh air while walking around.
