Beaches on the Barcelona coastline ideal for swimming

Barcelona's coastline is made up of ten beaches equipped for bathers, which cover more than 4 kilometers.

Sant Sebastià (Mº Barceloneta). The most pleasant part of this beach is at the foot of the W Hotel. The atmosphere is quite chic and cosmopolitan in summer, as it is frequented by hotel guests.

Sant Miquel and Barceloneta (Mº Barceloneta). These two beaches are very busy because of their proximity to the metro, but also very dirty at the end of the day! Young and international atmosphere.

Somorrostro (Mº Ciutadella Vila Olímpica). It's hard to believe that until the 1960s this was one of the poorest places in the city. Nowadays, trendy restaurants and nightclubs line the beach.

Nova Icària (Mº Ciutadella Vila Olímpica), the territory of Erasmus students, vacationers and sportsmen, with its volleyball courts.

Bogatell (Mº Poblenou), quieter and less touristy, it is mostly frequented by families. On the promenade along the beach, there are a number of restaurants offering paellas and seafood.

Mar Bella (Mº Poblenou), the trendiest beach, the territory of gays and nudists.

Nova Mar Bella (Mº Selva de Mar), generally quiet and frequented by locals.

Llevant (Mº Selva de Mar): this beach has the particularity of having a reserved area for dogs.

Banys del Fòrum (Mº El Maresme Fòrum): the last bathing area, but be careful, there is no beach here, you can access the sea through footbridges.

On adore!!!!
