The Olympic Village is the most spectacular urban development undertaken for the 1992 Olympic Games. It was built on the former waterfront of the Poble Nou to accommodate the 15,000 athletes who came to participate in the Games. Today, this housing complex forms a ventilated area, with many green spaces and modern sculptures. This is an area where it is nice to go for a weekend walk with family or friends. With its clubs and restaurants, the marina is one of the most lively and touristy areas in the city.
