Port area with a floating walkway to the shopping center and Aquarium facilities

The rehabilitation of the port area began with the Moll de la Fusta (Wooden Quay) project during the 1992 Olympic Games. This pleasant palm-lined promenade links the statue of Christopher Columbus to the gates of Barceloneta. Alongside the boats, it is punctuated with sculptures, including the friendly Gamba by Javier Mariscal and the famous Barcelona's Head by Roy Lichtenstein. A floating bridge, the Rambla del Mar, provides access to the Maremagnum shopping center and the Aquarium facilities.

Très beau quartier
Quartier calme et moderne, accessible depuis le bas des Ramblas.
Centre commercial qui ouvre à 10h les matins et qui propose un large choix de boutiques. Il manque une boutique alimentaire.
Accès à l'aquarium.
À visiter surtout pour les amateurs de shopping.

A lot of movement from the statue of Christopher Columbus and view on different buildings more or less recent and on boats including a schooner Eulalia that one can visit in addition to the Maritime Museum and whose price is included.

C’est un lieu situé prés de la mer et plein de vie. Une longue passerelle avec une architecture originale vous amène à un immense centre commercial. Beaucoup de magasins, restaurants etc… Magnifique vue sur la mer et la marina envahit de superbes yachts Vue aussi sur la ville et la statue de Christophe Colomb. L’autorité portuaire de Barcelone est un magnifique bâtiment situé Piaza del Portal. Belle visite.
