This elegant neoclassical square is one of the most popular in Barcelona. Formerly the property of the Capuchins, it was designed by the architect Francesc Molina between 1848 and 1860. Framed by arcades and adorned with palm trees, the square is lit by modernist street lamps by Gaudí, while the Three Graces fountain, from 1876, embellishes the central part. The luxurious atmosphere it once had is now tinged with a bohemian touch that encourages relaxation. In the evening, its many bars and restaurants are fully booked.

La placa reial est située tout près du barri gotic. Elle est bordée de restaurants sympas et il y aune fontaine au milieu.
Que ce soit pour aller déjeuner dans un restaurant autour de la place, pour vous y reposer quelques instants en observant un artiste de rue, ou pour y boire un petitcafé, ne manquez pas de passer par la placa reial!

Beaucoup de mouvement sur cette jolie place Réal où il est agréable de se promener, de s’asseoir près de la fontaine ou de consommer quelque chose à la terrasse d'un des nombreux restaurants autour. Lieu de rendez vous des habitants et aussi des touristes à ne pas manquer.
