House with a flamboyant gothic structure presenting municipal historical archives

The house, which houses the municipal historical archives, is known for its central courtyard, which dates from the early 16th century. Renaissance-style decorations were added to the building's flamboyant Gothic structure. The balconies will remind you of the story of Romeo and Juliet! In 1895, the modernist architect, Lluís Domènech Montaner, was commissioned to design the mailbox of the Bar Association. While the tortoise represents the slowness of bureaucracy, the swallows are the symbol of the freedom of justice.
