Modernist palace dedicated to the promotion of Catalan culture and language located in the Institut Ramón Llull
The Baron de Quadras Palace is one of the most representative buildings of the Catalan modernist style, built by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch. This huge neo-Gothic palace, with three floors, has two crenellated towers on each side and two facades with distinct ornamentation. It has housed various institutions since the 1970s and is currently the headquarters of the Institut Ramon Llull, which is dedicated to the dissemination and promotion of Catalan culture and language. The latter organizes guided tours.
