La Colmena has been a gourmet's haunt since 1849! This pastry shop, one of the oldest in Barcelona, deliciously perfumes the Plaza de l'Angel with its caramels, made with essential oils and honey. The pastry chefs of La Colmena will also delight you with their typical Catalan holiday treats, such as panellets with almond powder and pine nuts, prepared for All Saints' Day, or cakes such as Midsummer's Day coca and Christmas tortell . You will love the turrón with crème brûlée!
