SALON DES AUSTRALES

Based on the model of the Salon des îles Marquises, held every year in November since 1974, the Austral Islands have also developed their salon in Tahiti. It is held every year between the end of October and the beginning of November: an opportunity for visitors to discover absolutely magnificent creations made from 100% fenua material. If basketry is mainly in the spotlight with fans, bags, baskets and other very refined hats, there are also jewels made from pandanus, bark, rosewood or shells.
