Created in 1960, the very popular Miss Tahiti election is followed each year with great fervor in French Polynesia! A true tribute to the elegance and natural charm of the vahiné, it is far more popular in Fenua than in any other region of mainland France. In addition to competing in the grand Miss France election a few months later, the lucky contestant would become a veritable local "star" during her one-year reign. Temanava Domingo was elected Miss Tahiti 2024.
