Far from the tourist establishments of Sultanahmet, this superb 14th century hammam, a little less flashy than the others, is mainly frequented by locals from the old district of Üsküdar, on the Asian side. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in Turkish daily life. Family atmosphere, impeccable hygiene and low prices. The hammam is divided into two parts, one for men and one for women. You will see there the women of the district coming to relax, to pluck their eyebrows... We really have an authentic hammam atmosphere.
