This small street, named after the adjacent mosque, has a multitude of restaurants frequented mainly by local residents. Excellent price/quality ratio, no surprises. Crowded at lunchtime and perfect for enjoying a local atmosphere. Hocapaşa Pidecisi at No. 19 or Kurufasulyeci Hasan Usta at No. 20 are recommended. These are family houses that offer all the classics of popular Turkish cuisine. Be careful, alcohol is rare in this area and most establishments close around 8:30 pm.
