Built between 1906 and 1912, the church was designed by architect Giulio Mongeri. A place of worship for the largest Catholic community, it is one of the city's largest churches. Made of red brick, it is typical of Italian neo-Gothic architecture. Services are held in several languages. The apartments forming part of the complex are also the work of the same architect, and house members of the Catholic community.
