The districts of Kireçburnu and Kefeliköy are known for their coastal fish restaurants. We come to enjoy tea and börek (puff pastry). The Armenian Orthodox Orthodox Church Surp Hripsimyants is on Çayırbasi Caddesi and the Armenian Catholic Church Surp Bogos on Piyasa Caddesi, after the quay and Sadberk Museum Hanım. The avenues Büyükdere (former Armenian quarter) and Çetin Emeç meet to form Piyasa Caddesi leading to the pier and Sarıyer This place became popular thanks to the famous Turkish series Leyla Mecnun Island.
