Beykoz is the "end of the world" where the Black Sea begins. After the quay and the 16th century hammam (left), its monumental fountain (Ishak Ağa Çeşmesi) attracts more attention than its mosque (1810). A green municipality, with a grove and a park. The locality is known for its fish, especially turbot, which is a real delight but also for its charm and its nature is still preserved. The restaurant of the Beykoz social centre is recommended for its breathtaking view of the Bosphorus and its very attractive prices.
