After Hacı Özbek Camii, continuing south, you arrive at this religious school, founded by Sultan Orhan. Built in 1332, it is the very first Ottoman medersa. It has been turned into a ceramic market. Stop for tea in the courtyard, it's very pleasant. Just before Saint Sophia, you can take a look at the 15th century hammam of Murat II (Çifte hammam), which is still partly in use (Firuze Gallery).
