YENI KAPLICA
Built in 1552 during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent on the site of the Justinian Baths and under the directives of the Grand Vizier, the Yeni Kaplıca (New Hot Spring) is the oldest bath in the city. The men's section is worth a visit because it is ancient. The women's part, called Kaynarca, as well as the family part a little lower down,(Karamustafa), are more recent. It is pretty with the rooms covered with earthenware and green and pink marble and it is not very expensive. A relaxing break that will be welcome during your stay.
