The Cocoon Caravanserai is now converted into a market where silk is sold. Built in 1490, it is a reminder of the time when Bursa was an important stop on the Silk Road. It has also become a popular and pleasant place to drink tea. Six other han are located in the district: Emir Han (1522), Geyve Han (15th century, Demirkapı Çarşısı), Ipek Han (15th century, the largest), Pirinç Han (1508), Fidan Han (one of the most important, northeast of Koza Han).
