This natural ornithological reserve covers 64 hectares. It is home to about 255 species of birds and has 2 to 3 million winged visitors. The months of April to June and September to November, the times of the annual migrations, are the best times to observe the birds. There is a museum, an observation tower, and an information and visitor center that displays stuffed animals in their reconstructed habitat.
