KITIR
It is the favorite sign of the young students of Ankara. Kitir has been an institution for generations. It serves the best kumpir and especially the best kokoreç of the city (a kind of Turkish andouillette sandwich made of lamb, finely chopped and spiced with herbs and spices, it's very good). Once you've settled in, you'll understand what makes this seemingly ordinary place so enjoyable: its atmosphere and friendliness. Alcohol is served, making it a popular spot for aperitifs. The stained glass pendant lighting is iconic.
