This huge building of andesite (a typical stone of Ankara) which sheltered the first Turkish Parliament was converted into museum in 1960. After being the museum of the National Assembly, it is now the museum of war and independence. Inside, you will find a photographic retrospective of the great moments of the War of Independence. Next to it are wax statues representing the different presidents of the Turkish Republic.
