GALIP HAIR MUSEUM
It is only a hair's breadth away (if you don't pay attention) to miss this amazing museum built in a natural cave carved into the rock and filled with 16,000 samples of women's hair from around the world. This amazing museum was opened in 1979 by the potter Galip Körükçü. It is the fruit of his love affair with a French tourist who came to discover Cappadocia 35 years ago. The day of her departure, she cut a lock of hair as a token of eternal love for her potter. The rest of the story is to be discovered in the 500m2 cave.
