Go there and contact
The part that constituted the village of origin (piton) is north of the village. It was once visited by the égarés and the curious, but, faced with the growing success, there was no rush to install a counter there. The church Saint-Jean-Baptiste, embedded in the cliff and dating from the Fifth century, is considered one of the oldest in the region (frescoes). By leaving the village, on the road to Avanos, you can visit the church of Nicéphore Phocas, with frescoes commemorating the passage of the Byzantine emperor in Cappadocia (964-965).
