KÖPRÜLÜ KANYON
Located in a park, decreed national in 1973 by the Ministry of Forestry, the Köprülü Kanyon is a gorge of the former Eurymedon River, now Köprü, whose depth reaches 400 m in some places and runs up to 14 km along the river that gave it its name. The canyon is spanned by a Roman bridge, the Oluk Bridge, with admirable arches. The park is home to several mountains, some of which reach over 2,500 m in height. A few kilometres away are the ruins of the ancient city of Selge, of which a part of the wall and the theatre remain.
