The town of Sillyon was one of the most fortified towns in the region. These ruins are of Greek and Roman influence, as are the other remains in the area. From the acropolis, locate a gymnasium, an odeon and a cistern as well as various unidentified buildings of use. One of them will be of particular interest to archaeologists because it bears the only existing engraved inscription in the Pamphylian language, a Greek dialect. The theater's in total ruin.
