AUBERGE DES SKIEURS
The Auberge des skiieurs is a comforting place like one likes to find in mountain resorts. The decoration is warm and the content of the card is accordingly. Here, you can, of course, taste a traditional truffade, but also interesting variants, blue, cantal, mushrooms... Generously served in the frying pan, it is of excellent quality. The chef also offers fondues as well as more elaborate dishes such as foie gras fried with plum plum cream or a back of cod in brig leaf. The wine list is short but of high quality, so we were able to taste a Côtes-d'Auvergne old vines perfectly matched to the truffade. However, the reception could be improved and the service is sometimes long when the team is overwhelmed.
