Restaurant offering a cuisine from Auvergne with an excellent quality-price ratio.
For more than 30 years now, people have been enjoying themselves at Le Pitsounet (pigeon house in patois). You can't get much more rustic than this country inn. There is a large room for tables or tables, as people often come here in groups or families. Auvergne cuisine is honoured by chef Pierre Lacombe. The specialities are divided according to the days of the week (tripoux, potée, chicken with cheese, falette du Mont-Dore - stuffed shoulder of lamb served with cabbage and braised chestnuts - and trout with bacon). On the main course or on the menu, generous portions are de rigueur as much as the friendly welcome and the smile of the team in the dining room. To accompany your dishes, you will have the choice between different wines from the Auvergne, carefully selected for their excellent value for money (among others Boudes wines and Châteaugay wines). A good address for those who wish to enjoy a typical meal of the region for an affordable price.
