This great waterfall rises from the Durbise plateau at an altitude of 1,450 metres.
The Sancy massif hides one of the highest waterfalls in the region, which has its source on the Durbise plateau at an altitude of 1,450 metres. To go and admire this landscape, you have to go to rue des Déportés, at the corner of the thermal establishment. The stairs on the right lead you to the hiking trail, marked in yellow. You will then reach the Grande Cascade path. Once there, don't hesitate to go up to the plateau, a magnificent view awaits you. The hike, round trip, lasts about an hour and a half with a difference in altitude of 270 meters.
