MONT-DORE THERMAL BATHS
Thermal baths built between 1817 and 1823 with a mosaic decoration in the hall of the sources and the furniture dressed with ceramics.
This thermal establishment built between 1817 and 1823, enlarged and transformed since in the neo-Byzantine style, and classified as a historical monument, must be visited! You will see the "Salle des pas perdus" with painted vaults resting on Vosges sandstone columns, mosaics decorating the whole. Niches with pediments contain ancient remains. This mosaic decoration is found in the hall of sources, the furniture being entirely dressed in ceramics. You will discover the paintings and polychrome mosaics which, for some, date from the 19th century.
