LE LAC DES FADES BESSERVE
A popular lake for swimmers, fishermen and water sports enthusiasts in Les Ancizes-Comps.
This lake was created in the 1960s with the construction of the 235-metre long, 8-metre thick and 68-metre high dam of the same name, just upstream from the majestic Fades viaduct. It is popular with swimmers, fishermen and water sports enthusiasts. Three beaches with playgrounds and picnic areas are open for swimming and supervised on summer afternoons: Confolant in the town of Miremont, the Chazotte in Saint-Jacques-d'Ambur and the Pont-du-Bouchet in Les Ancizes.
