The Etang de l'Isle, created around 1785 near the Château de Ligones, covers 20 hectares. It is currently managed by a local fishing association. The lake is home to a multitude of fish, including Asian carp, catfish, pike and roach, all of which delight anglers. The area is also very popular with hikers and other nature lovers, as all kinds of plant species flourish here: feather reeds, water lilies, oaks, hornbeams, willows, acacias, ashes, maples, Scots pines and yews.
