It is in the beautiful setting of the historic garden of Andohalo that the chef Henintsoa Moretti has installed her restaurant. This woman overflowing with energy and desire to share her passion travels throughout the country to find the recipes of yesteryear and revisits them. It is thus a traditional Malagasy cuisine that she and her team present to us. The plates are refined and all the dishes are really tasty. The reception is neat, the interior room pleasant and the garden a real paradise. One of our most beautiful Malagasy gastronomic experiences.

DÉCEPTION
La critique du Petit Futé était tellement enthousiaste que nous avons voulu tester ce restaurant situé sur les hauteurs de Tana ! Comme il faisait nuit et froid en cette saison (août), nous n’avons pas pu apprécier le jardin, quant à la petite salle elle était plutôt glaciale (d’autant plus que nous étions les seuls clients !) à l’image de la cheffe propriétaire… Cette dernière se présente comme italienne (comme si c’était déshonorant d’être malgache, ce qu’elle est de toute évidence même si elle a vécu en Italie !). Elle nous présente ses plats (beaucoup qui sont à la carte ne sont pas disponibles) comme étant les meilleurs de Tana… et au final nous dégustons une cuisine correcte mais plus proche du style plat du jour que d’un resto étoilé (même si il y a un effort de présentation) ! En résumé, nous avons été très déçus tant par la cuisine que par l’accueil…
