SAINT-GENEST FISH FARM
The operation was taken over in 2016 by the Montpellierains Carine Reijasse and Alain Leguillon, respectively from the education and pharmaceutical industries. This couple wishing to go green has been trained in aquaculture and processing. He visited many fish farms before they fell in love with Malauzat, one of the most beautiful and ancient salmon farms in Europe, in operation since the middle of the 19th century. The 3 hectare farm houses an 8,000 m² water reservoir, where fario trout, rainbow trout and Arctic char proliferate. Production is desired as small, rational and oriented towards short circuits and direct sales. The estate also welcomes anglers, classes and leisure centres.
