Formerly a coffee plantation, this site offers wooden and bamboo bungalows set in a beautiful tropical garden.
With its bungalows scattered in a beautiful tropical garden (a godsend in the city), the site of Ambonara is in fact a former coffee plantation. The setting is relaxing, the nice swimming pool is a big part of it! Authentic address (wooden and bamboo bungalows) which does not smell concrete. The restaurant is excellent and the home-arranged rums are among the best in Madagascar. And as the owner provides good advice, the place is even more appreciated... It remains simpler than other addresses in Nosy Be. Remember to book early.

La piscine est très jolie et agréable, par contre les fauteuils qui l'entourent sont sales.
Nous n'avons pas trop testé le restaurant, mais le service est toujours aimable.
Attention, on ne peut payer qu'en espèces !

Le restaurant sert des plats succulents, que ce soit des spécialités locales ou des spécialités du monde …
Le service de chambre est moyen, notamment l’eau chaude qui nécessite d’attendre 5 bonnes minutes pour s’enclencher.
Dans l’ensemble, ça vaut le coup quand même… vous allez être agréablement surpris de votre séjour .
