HÔTEL NEBODER
Hotel located 5 minutes walk from downtown offering spacious and comfortable rooms with vintage design.
Located 5 minutes walk from the city center, this hotel, which dates back to 1939, has long been requisitioned for international soldiers on mission. Restored in 2007, the tower, which is now classified as a national architectural heritage, would still require renovations (elevator, in particular). If the exterior is not very engaging, the rooms are spacious, with a vintage design in Formica. The best part is the magnificent view from the upper floors. On one side the city, the canal and the sea, on the other the mountain and the Trsat district.

- there was only one outlet
- the outside noise was unbearable even with all the windows closed. I can name every person every car every train and ship that passed during the night even though I was on the 10th floor!
- stains on the chair and curtains
- horribly stinky bathroom
- broken window blinds
- old key with the keychain bigger than my entire palm
- slow elevators
- there was literally no breakfast even though we were on time. there was literally 3 slices of cheese and 2 slices of salami left at 7:15h (breakfast was advertised as 6:30-10h) everything else was pretty much empty
- kitchen staff argued amongst themselves during breakfast which was heard all the way to the dining tables and annoying to listen in the morning
- balcony has no chair and literally feels like a cage
- horrendously slow wifi (I measured on ookla at 1am it was 6mbps. yeah 6!)
all in all, disgusting and would prefer not to set a foot in it ever again.
