The historic Kvarner Hotel has a number of outbuildings (Villa Amalia) where rooms of lower standard and price have been set up.
We're here in the outbuildings of the Hotel Kvarner, built in 1890 to accommodate the royal and imperial families of Austria-Hungary, Germany, Romania... Set back from the Lungomare, bordered by an exotic Mediterranean park where Isadora Duncan loved to stroll, the Villa Amalia is an elegant, multi-storey building. The rooms, which are less expensive than those of its illustrious neighbor, are spacious and bright, with 4-star comforts, balconies and, for the most part, sea views. Free access to the Kvarner's outdoor swimming pool.
