BRISTOL HOTEL OPATIJA ^{* * * *}

Odlican omjer cijene i kvalitete. Sve je cisto, a hrana vrlo dobra. Gosti su uglavnom starije zivotne dobi pa je i atmosfera mirna.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage. In 5 Gehminuten ist man im Zentrum und am Meer.

Das ist aber fast das einzig tolle... Der Parkplatz ist sehr weit weg und kostet €9,50 am Tag, die Zimmer sind sehr klein und das Essen ist auch nicht berauschend. Von einem 4* Hotel erwarte ich mir auch das einem die KellnerInnen oder RezeptionistInnen grüßen, aber leider ist auch das nicht der Fall.
Wenn man früher anreist oder später abreist wird das Gebäck einfach mitten in der Lobby neben einer Couch abgestellt - niemand hat das im Auge.
Die Einrichtung ist sehr veraltet und teilweise auch sehr schlecht gereinigt (Teppichboden hat fragliche Flecken und im Badezimmer findet man noch die Flecken der Vorgänger) der Kinderstuhl beim Essen wurde glaub ich noch nie gereinigt und hat auch keinen Gurt.
Die Fenster haben keine Dichtung, man hört alles von draußen.
Von außen ist das Gebäude sehr schön.

Izvan sezone sve 5. Tihi hotel, ugodne i čiste sobe, osoblje za svaku pohvalu. Hotel je u samom centru pa je parking malo udaljen od hotela (cca 5 min laganog hoda)

The front desk staff were helpful for the first 30 seconds of a conversation. After that, you got the feeling that they just wanted you out of their hair. The buffet breakfast was lovely, but the buffet dinner ( 21.5 euros) was riddled with problems - the fish was old and stinky, the vegetables and salads all had bell peppers in them or on them for garnish (husband is allergic to bell peppers), and the deserts were boring. There was construction going on across the street from our rooms and the constant banging from 8-5 was mind-bending. They had a little cafe for coffee, sodas, beer and cocktails with exceptional generous and tasty specialty cakes. This was a highlight of the place.
