Municipal museum in Osor housing an archaeological collection of the first island excavations.
In the former premises of the town hall, the municipal museum houses one of the country's oldest archaeological collections. The bust of Bishop Ivan Bolmarić, a local scholar and benefactor of the region, pays tribute to the man who led the island's first excavations between 1868 and 1881. The permanent exhibition of works and artefacts (prehistory, Hellenistic and medieval periods) testifies to the port's historical importance.
