Enclosed concentration camp in the communal cemetery in Kampor with a mural of symbols.
Named Groblje Logor in Croatian, this cemetery was built by Italian fascists during the Second World War. Today, this concentration camp is enclosed within the municipal cemetery. Slovenian deportees were interned here. More than 15,000 civilians were locked up in inhuman conditions, many of whom did not survive. A fresco of symbols decorates the site, calling for meditation. An important memorial.
