ST. ANASTASIA CATHEDRAL (SV. STOŠIJE)
Monumental Romanesque church with a front façade with blind arcades, parallel naves, portals and marble sarcophagus.
Built in the 12th and 13th centuries, this monumental Romanesque church has three parallel naves and three portals. Built on the site of an ancient basilica dating back to the beginning of Christianity, it boasts a superb front facade adorned with blind arcades typical of Tuscan Romanesque art (Siena or Florence). Inside, since the 9th century, a marble sarcophagus has housed the relics of St. Anastasia of Illyria, brought back from Constantinople by Archbishop Donat.

La façade est très belle, tout comme le sarcophage à l'intérieur.
