Fortress with a walkway, accessible by a drawbridge and along the ramparts and bastions with a view of the lower town.
The entrance to the fortress is via a wooden drawbridge. You can begin your visit with a tour de ronde, skirting the ramparts and bastions. The view of the town below, the surrounding area and the mountains is superb. At the very top stands the Croatian flag and a monument to former Croatian president Franjo Tuđman. A memorial museum completes the visit. If you get the chance, the visit at night is even more spectacular with the walls illuminated.
