MUSÉE MUNICIPAL
Discover the Captain's room, the archaeological collection, a permanent hydroarchaeological exhibition..
Next to Hektorović Castle, Biankini Palace was built in neo-Renaissance style (1896) for a wealthy shipping family. It opened its doors in 1963 to display the collection of paintings by Juraj Plančić (1899-1930). The large building was then transformed into a municipal museum, including the Captain's Hall, the archaeological collection and temporary exhibitions (first floor). In the basement, an educational room on hydroarchaeology recalls the agricultural ingenuity of ancient Pharos. Also worth seeing: the lapidarium in the garden.
