From Vis Port, follow the long waterfront path to the east, bordered by old and newer summer residences. Towards the end of the walk, after the village of Kut, we arrive at the Grandovac peninsula. Walk past the church and the former Czech property (Villa Topič), once glorious in the past, which is now abandoned and gently squatted by the young people. The cove is protected from the breeze by the pine forest that dominates it, and can be seen below at the beach bar. Crystal clear water, white pebbles, cicadas in the tamarisk trees..
