Due to its specific geostrategic position, this isolated island on the Adriatic coast became a Yugoslav Army (JNA) military base after the Second World War. This unusual route makes a comeback in the middle of the Cold War, when Marshal Tito decided to transform the island into a rear base. Vis would be a perfect entrenched camp in case of a Yankee attack! On board army zodiacs, we visit underground facilities, tunnels and abandoned bunkers.
